A day with Bambo and friends at Kelmarsh hall and Gardens
You may have seen that a few weeks ago we got to try some Bambo Nature nappies for Dexter and we really enjoyed using them supporting their eco-background. They have suited Dex really well and they have proven hit in our family. We were excited to find out that Bambo have released some skin care products such as oils, lotions and creams and we were asked to the launch of these vegan friendly and cruelty free products along with some other lovely bloggers. We headed over to Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens and as soon as we arrived at the beautiful gardens we were able to get involved in some eco-crafts. We made some gorgeous…

The difference a bit of sun makes!
Hasn’t it been so lovley the past couple of weeks that we have been able to have some proper sunshine and proper time outside for those long days of play. In the paddling pool, drying off in the sun, back in and repeat. It makes such a difference getting some of that vitamin d and the sunshine rays and I definitely feel much better having spent my whole day outdoors. The boys are much more chilled too, they really only need the simplest of things to have fun outside don’t they. Freddie’s favourite pastime is lifting up bricks and rolling logs to look for any fun critters underneath. Dexter’s is…

Enjoying an afternoon tea at Halesowen golf club
Me and my fave gal Twinderelmo love lusting over delicious, tasty treats and very rarely make a date and do anything about it. However, we ADORE an afternoon tea as it’s a chance to spoil ourselves, over indulge and have a good natter, so when we were invited to Halesowen Golf Club to try their new afternoon tea menu, there really was only one answer! it wasn’t too far a trip for us and it’s quite a pretty one, The golf club just appears down a lovely wooded lane that is dotted with bluebells, daffodils and of course the beautifully sculpted fairway. I was quite nervous arriving as I have never…

Im so pleased to give you a low down on how great this free range break is! I have split my review into two posts -our overall stay and our visit to Kingdom of the Elves. We arrived at Bluestone on a cold, dark November night. This just made it all the more exciting as I just couldn’t wait to get nestled up in our lodge! We had travelled from Shropshire and it took us about 3 and a half hours which I included regular threenager emergency…

Bourton on the water
Today we had a bimble over to Bourton on the water, somewhere I have always wanted to go and so we made it our first family day out. Situated near Cheltenham, it’s not really to far from us in Shropshire so it was quite pleasant to travel. There are lots of places to park and only a very short walk to the small town itself. As soon as you step out of the car park you see how picturesque it is, it almost looks pretend. It’s nicknamed “the Venice of the Cotswolds” because of the beautiful, shallow water running through the middle, straddled with low bridges. You can see it…
